In the historic Rione Prati district of Rome, bordering on the Vatican City, an early 20C building contains an apartment of about 80 m2 transformed into a modern, comfortable, very functional Airbnb let where design meets state-of-the-art technology.
An ecosustainable apartment
All the rooms were renovated with the aim of combining attractive looks and architecture with practical and functional needs, with a special focus on energy saving.
Optimisation of spaces
One key feature of the project is the suspended ceilings, custom-designed to give personality to the interiors and dynamism to the surfaces. LED lighting and insulating materials were used to make the apartment ecosustainable.
The result is a smart apartment that combines contemporary design and technological innovation with an evocation of the past of “old” Rome – with its historic Borgo Pio and Borgo dei Prati districts - and the craftsmen's workshops of bygone days.
One, minimal style.
