Three tips to enhance the wall kitchen

Whether straight-line or built around a corner, the wall kitchen can be an excellent solution, especially for rooms that communicate with the living area. It is perfect for optimising the rational use of space and creating a hybrid interior. It is important to find solutions that combine aesthetic impact and design with the functionality of the features installed and the use of spaces. Ernestomeda Art Director Giuseppe Bavuso is a grand master in designing furnishings that meet both these needs.

Here is some advice for ensuring that a wall kitchen project will be visually striking and convenient.

  • Add the Order shelf

An immaculately designed feature for furnishing the working area with style. The space between base and wall units is an important strategic resource, and the Order shelf is an extremely practical and useful way of equipping and utilising the working zone that is simple and stylish too. Compatible with the entire Ernestomeda range, it can dialogue with any compositional feature.

  • Add an integral table.

An integral table provides an extra work surface which can be useful during kitchen tasks, as a dining table or just as a snack top. The Line Table launched with the Sign collection has a top resting on a painted metal support. The overall effect of the wood-metal pairing of the support and its bold, clear forms is of impeccable simplicity. It can be placed on worktops and base units perpendicular to the kitchen composition, on worktops and base units at the end of a peninsula, or on an island.

  • Include tall units in the project: the FIT equipment

Tall units, with doors, styled as simply and elegantly as those of a cupboard system, can conceal multiple compositional and functional systems as required. They provide all the storage needed and the interiors can be modulated with a variety of solutions. The Fit equipment collection is an impressively complete system of accessories for organising interiors to suit the most individual requirements, with a vast range: fixed, pull-out and Mix shelf, basket with or without handle, in two sizes and in two different material options (bottom in Hi-Melamine and structure in Lucem, or Lucem and glass), tray and clothes hanging rail. In design terms, tall units are styled in a way more typical of other rooms such as the living-room, facilitating integration with this area. What’s more, their large storage capacity provides a great deal of space for all requirements.
