Ernestomeda will be represented by a classroom and the Iconcolor kitchen at the first Eataly point of sale in Canada.
Ernestomeda confirms its partnership with Eataly in the run-up to the eagerly awaited opening to the public of Oscar Farinetti's famous chain's first point of sale in Canada in the Manulife Centre, in the Yorkville district of Toronto.
The event consolidates the partnership between Ernestomeda and Oscar Farinetti's brand, launched in 2017 with the high-end kitchen producer's participation at FICO Eataly World - the globe's largest food park, opened in Bologna two years ago - and continued with the company's inclusion in Eataly Stockholm, the point of sale opened in Sweden in 2018, and Eataly Paris, inaugurated in the French capital in April last year.
The essential feature of the new Eataly's store's identity will be the genuine goodness of foods and wines from the Italian tradition, with the promise of constant care over the quality of raw materials and sustainable production methods.
Eataly Toronto occupies three floors of its host building, with a total floor area of 50,000 m2, featuring all the format's distinctive characteristics: a wide retail offering of top-quality made in Italy products, a large restaurant and market area, and finally a rich educational offering, run by the Eataly School, with food experiences tailored to reveal all the secrets of preparing real Italian cuisine.
For this purpose, the store will include a classroom equipped with the Icon model kitchen, in the IconColor version, designed by Giuseppe Bavuso for Ernestomeda. This model, a real ""icon"" for the brand, offers a flawless combination of function and design, stylish elegance and outstanding technical performances.
“We are thrilled with the success Eataly is continuing to achieve worldwide and proud to be partnering Oscar Farinetti's brand again on this occasion”, states Alberto Scavolini, CEO of Ernestomeda. “Our joint aim is to promote Italian excellence worldwide: the opening of Eataly Toronto on the American continent is another major step forward in this direction."".
