Citylife Apartment: minimalist interiors with a timeless mood

An exclusive apartment characterised by interiors in natural shades of beige, forest green and burnt Siena, with materials like dark wood, wengé wood boiserie panels and warm-patterned wallpaper and an absence of paintwork. The project was created by architect Alessia Garibaldi together with Milano Contract District Group’s Design Club.

The communal spaces embrace striking solutions like the long fitted wall of the lounge, the dominant feature of the living area, placed against the green wall as a tribute to architect Caccia Dominioni.
The living area also contains SIGN by Ernestomeda, a kitchen with an informal character and a strong focus on materials, in a mix of colours that generates very elegant interiors with strong emotional impact.
Moodboard
Its key features are: base and tall unit doors in Autumn Grey hi-melamine with matching groove strips and plinths, wall unit doors in Canneté Teide Oak hi-melamine, which contribute a refined texture, and an Abitum worktop in glossy striped black marble, providing an elegant, contemporary touch.
The relationship between art and architecture is highlighted by two works by Piero Gemelli, "Twin Towers, NYC 2001" in the bedroom and "La Rivale, Milano 2023" in the lounge, which add both emotional depth and aesthetic value to the interiors.
In the private areas, neutral shades and soft textures create an intimate, cosy mood. The bedroom is simple and refined while the study gains warmth from a terracotta wall, creating a minimalist design through effective use of immaculate, continuous materials.
